![]() ![]() ![]() The R2670 firmware version should be 5.04.xxx or newer. The High Pass filter should be set to 5 Hz and the Low Pass filter set to 20 kHz in the R2670s 'Special Function Menu' post filtering section.Previous versions of Motorola service monitors did not require setting the bandwidth to narrow. This is done to reduce the amount of noise inherent to the wider IF of the R2670. The Narrow Bandwidth-NB filter should be enabled on the R2670.It is recommended that you have a minimum of -10 dBm signal strength input to your Communications System Analyzer. A strong signal is required to get an accurate deviation measurement.Setting deviation using off-the-air signals may cause inaccurate system deviation which may result in missed subscriber receive audio. You must set the deviation utilizing the service mode of the RSS.But that was only once.Įverytime you switch it on now it goes into the self Cal Mode and then the flashing Copyright Screen and LED's.Ĭan anyone Please help me with a SERVICE Manual or other info on this one, It did on one occasion when I switched off and on it sprung back to life. I've checked all the voltage rails & all are OK as well as the 10Mhz Osc. I then left it for a few days, turned it on and it goes into auto Calibration and when it completes the screen goes blank and then the copyright notice flashes on and off as well as the red LED's forĪntenna & Gen out. ![]() So I switched it off for a few hours and when I came back to it and turned it on, Yes you guessed it, it's no longer worked on those ranges as mentioned above. Then I used it in that mode for a few hours and it worked Ok. I thenĭe-powered it a few times and it came back every time. ![]() I've since cleaned, checked and Buzzed out the ribbon cables, because only once when I re-seated the 3 going to the control board it started to work on the 5Mhz to 100Khz ranges. It worked fine in the 10Mhz and 25Mhz ranges, but when you pressed the more soft key as soon as you selected a range between 5Mhz and 100Khz the unit just locked up and the only way out of this was to de-power the unit from the mains. The problem I have is after I replaced the battery on the Control Board and Replaced ALL the Electrolytic Capacitors on the Power Supply Board, The Unit came back to life, and it worked onĪll functions except in Tracking Gene Mode. Can anyone Please help me out, I'm looking for a SERVICE Manual for the Motorola R2600 Test Set ![]()
